During the COVID-19 pandemic, the world has changed. People in many countries have stopped travelling or meeting new people as if the world had come to a halt. However, something new has emerged in societies, professions, and how we live our life. The same has happened in the art world. During the world’s closure, many artists took this time to widen their art perspectives reflecting thoughts freed of disturbances.
“Shut / ชัด : One Closes, One Opens” is administered by the Baramee Dhamma Hall Foundation. It is a collection of art pieces from many national artists, contemporary artists, and young artists of all techniques. These art pieces were inspired by the feelings that weren't fully formed but gained in clarity and precision out of the experience of isolation during the COVID-19 from March to June 2020. The exhibition is also to support the artists in this time of hardship.
